Who We Are?

SPV Solutions was born from a personal quest to better understand the factors that influence human health.

For many years, it was thought that the fundamental pillars of health were primarily diet and physical activity. However, certain personal experiences related to sleep disorders and an autoimmune disease led to questioning whether other environmental factors could profoundly influence the body’s functioning.

This quest led to the discovery of an aspect frequently ignored in modern life: the biological impact of light.

Throughout evolution, humans have lived in an extremely stable light environment, marked by the sun’s natural cycle. Today, however, we spend much of our lives indoors, exposed to artificial lighting and screens that disrupt the light signals that regulate our biological clock.

Science has shown that light not only serves a visual function. It also acts as an essential biological signal capable of influencing circadian rhythms, the hormonal system, energy metabolism, sleep quality, and cellular repair processes.

From this understanding, SPV Solutions was born, with the goal of developing solutions that adapt the modern world’s lighting environment to be more aligned with human biology.

Today, SPV Solutions combines research, engineering, and design to create products that help people improve their lighting hygiene and regain a healthier relationship with one of the most powerful regulators of our physiology: light.
